The role includes document preparation, email and calendar management, task tracking, and billing using LEAP. What We’re Looking For: 5-10+ years of legal support/paralegal experience, ideally within property law, conveyancing, land acquisition or a law firm. Typing letters via Teams and Managing emails and calendars Skilled in LEAP software e.g. opening files, using word precedents, creating templates (of course we will teach a suitable candidate if they don’t have LEAP experience) Putting precedents documents together Sending standard template letters to experts, managing dates, managing tasks Billing (i.e. entering billable units in LEAP software) What You’ll Be Working On: Legal & Property Support Provide paralegal and administrative support for land acquisition, property law and valuation matters. Prepare and organize legal documents, correspondence, precedents, templates and supporting documentation. Assist with compiling and maintaining property and legal files. Prepare documents and correspondence based on established precedents and templates. Coordinate with external experts and other parties by sending standard/template correspondence and following up on required documents and deadlines. Maintain accurate records of key dates, tasks, transactions and documentation. Assist with monitoring the progress of property/legal matters and ensure follow-ups are completed on time. LEAP & Document Management Use LEAP to open and maintain files, manage precedents, create templates and update matter information. Prepare and compile documents in accordance with the lawyer's instructions. Enter billable units and assist with billing administration in LEAP. Maintain organized electronic files and ensure documents are saved correctly. Personal Assistant / Administrative Support Draft and type correspondence and letters based on instructions, including information provided through Microsoft Teams. Manage emails, calendar appointments and meeting schedules. Manage daily tasks, reminders and deadlines. Coordinate meetings and follow-ups with clients, experts and other stakeholders.
