The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join our company. This position will provide legal support to our Sales, Contracts & Marketing (SC&M) Legal team on matters related to the sale of commercial aircraft in Seattle, WA.

Such support will include anti-corruption compliance, including supporting the business courtesies compliance review process and assisting on follow-up questions or other projects associated with sponsorship requests. In addition, prepare legal opinions related to aircraft delivery to our commercial customers, and provide other support to the SC&M Legal team and other teams as needed.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Review business courtesies requests and relevant laws and policies, and summarize requests for final review by SC&M attorney
  • Handle tracking process for all business courtesies requests received by SC&M, and provide policy or process mentorship to clients as needed
  • Support process improvement projects as needed
  • Track sponsorship requests received by SC&M team and assist on various projects associated with the requests
  • Coordinate with clients on upcoming deliveries where a legal opinion is needed
  • Review all delivery documents, including bills of sale, coordinate follow-up questions with clients, and prepare draft opinion for review and signature by SC&M attorney

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future. Minimum of 3 days onsite.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in a law firm, corporate in-house counsel, or governmental legal setting
  • 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor degree or paralegal degree from an accredited university
  • Experience working with international regulatory compliance issues
  • Attention to detail
  • A collaborative, team-oriented attitude
  • Strong organizational and writing skills
