About the Role

As Senior Trade Overseer, you'll lead plumbing maintenance operations, guide Overseers and develop inmates through practical workplace training that supports rehabilitation and future employment. You'll plan and coordinate maintenance, manage resources and budgets, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safe, efficient, high-quality service delivery across the correctional complex.

What you'll bring

We're looking for a confident and capable leader who can motivate others while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.

  • Relevant trade qualifications: minimum NSW Plumbing Contractor license, similar related trades or NSW Plumbing Supervisor Certificate and proven post trade experience
  • Qualification in TMV (Thermostatic Mixing Valve) and Backflow Operations
  • Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or willingness to obtain within timeframe set out by CSNSW
  • Current driver licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle while performing the role
  • Ability and willingness to work across various trades as required
  • Ability and willingness to work on and after-hours on call roster
  • Experience which demonstrates the ability to meet the key accountabilities and focus capabilities as detailed in the role description
