About the Role

This is a Senior Originator & Structurer role, responsible for managing the full commercial lifecycle across both upstream and downstream activities, with a focus on renewable power, energy storage and environmental products (including carbon).

The role is central to delivering commercial growth, leading the origination, structuring and execution of complex transactions across ENGIE’s clean energy portfolio (including wind, BESS and hybrid assets).

You will combine hands-on deal execution with strategic leadership, owning customer engagement, pricing and structuring strategy, and supporting the commercialisation of development projects through to contract execution. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will deliver bankable, value-accretive outcomes aligned to long-term portfolio strategy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the origination, structuring and execution of transactions across upstream and downstream markets, including PPAs and offtake agreements
  • Develop and deliver commercial solutions across renewable power, energy storage and environmental products (including carbon)
  • Drive customer engagement and originate opportunities across energy and corporate sectors
  • Manage end-to-end deal execution, including pricing, negotiation and contract finalisation
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to support pipeline growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams (development, finance, legal, operations and strategy) to progress opportunities from origination through to execution
  • Monitor market dynamics, regulatory frameworks and pricing trends to inform commercial strategy

About You

You’re a commercially driven energy professional with strong experience in origination and structuring across energy markets, and a track record of leading complex transactions end-to-end.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in origination and structuring across renewable power, storage and/or environmental products (including carbon)
  • Experience operating across both upstream and downstream markets
  • Strong knowledge of the Australian energy market and regulatory frameworks, including the National Electricity Market (NEM)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex negotiations and deliver commercial agreements
  • Strong commercial acumen, including financial analysis, pricing and risk management capability
  • Experience building client relationships within energy and corporate sectors
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
