What You Will Do:

As a Senior Orders & Demand Consultant, you will work closely with Caterpillar Dealers and Customers and facilitate the execution of the Cat PRISM S&OP process Your mission is to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve both Dealer and Customer business objectives by driving process excellence through best-in-class demand planning and execution with the ultimate goal of helping solve our Customers’ toughest challenges.

Major Component Forecasting

  • Work closely with our mining dealers and customers on the creation and transmission of their long-term component repair forecast

  • Ensure adequate component coverage across a dealer's service fleet

  • Collaborate with Dealers and Customers to improve forecast accuracy (Conformance) utilizing a continuous improvement framework

Demand Plan Execution

  • Support dealers and customers through the execution of the PRISM S&OP process

  • Leverage PRISM Connect to visualize demand plan and identify supply gaps and risks

  • Drive demand plan execution through the timely placement of future-dated orders

Regional Expert

  • Drive awareness of aftermarket planning initiatives

  • Support cross-functional initiatives as a recognized demand planning expert

  • Grow your knowledge by partnering with adjacent teams

Skills you will have:

Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.

Basic Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree

- Pre Advanced English

Top Candidates Will Have:

- Pre Advanced Spanish

- Previous experience interacting with Caterpillar Dealers and/or Customers

- Aftermarket Parts/Inventory Management experience

Additional information:

- This position may require 25% travel.

-This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week.
