We’re looking for an Environmental Consultant to Principal Environmental Consultant – Onshore Approvals to join our APAC team in Perth.

What you’ll do

• Prepare environmental approval documentation across key legislation (EPBC Act, WA EP Act, petroleum and pipeline regulations)
• Undertake environmental impact assessments including baseline studies, impact identification and mitigation strategies
• Prepare permit and approval applications and modification documentation
• Develop and implement environmental management and monitoring plans
• Scope and coordinate fieldwork for terrestrial and aquatic environments
• Prepare HSE management plans and risk assessments
• Lead project delivery including approvals and environmental scopes
• Conduct inspections, audits and compliance activities

About you

• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Engineering, Natural Resource Management or similar
• Extensive experience in environmental consulting or similar roles
• Strong experience preparing State and Commonwealth environmental approvals (EP Act Part IV & V, EPBC referrals, EMPs)
• Proven ability to manage projects, clients and teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
• Experience working with regulators such as EPA, DWER, DMIRS and DCCEEW
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and technical writing skills
• Business development mindset and ability to build professional networks
• Ability to manage multiple projects across varying scale and complexity
