As a Senior / Managing Sustainability Consultant, you will lead and deliver sustainability and ESG advisory projects, working closely with senior stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams. You will take ownership of project execution, ensuring high-quality deliverables, effective client engagement, and alignment with strategic objectives.

This role is well-suited for candidates who demonstrate deep expertise and strong interest in greenhouse gas accounting and disclosure, decarbonization strategies, and climate-related disclosure and reporting frameworks. Familiarity with leading platforms and standards such as CDP and EcoVadis is expected, alongside a solid understanding of broader sustainability and carbon market trends. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to independently manage client relationships and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Climate and ESG advisory projects end-to-end, including scope definition, workplan development, quality assurance, and timeline management to ensure successful delivery

  • Design and implement decarbonization strategies, GHG accounting frameworks, and climate disclosure approaches aligned with client business objectives, including target-setting and roadmap development in line with SBTi

  • Develop and execute strategies for ESG ratings and disclosures, including CDP and EcoVadis, ensuring alignment with leading practices and client positioning objectives

  • Oversee the collection, validation, and analysis of GHG data, and translate insights into high-quality reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations

  • Support clients in integrating sustainable finance considerations into strategy and decision-making (e.g., green bonds, sustainability-linked loans, ESG integration in investment processes)

  • Lead assessments of natural capital and biodiversity-related risks and opportunities, and support integration into corporate strategy and disclosure (e.g., TNFD-aligned approaches)

  • Build and manage senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and supporting key decision-making processes throughout project delivery

  • Generate high-value insights through analysis of regulatory developments, market trends, carbon markets, and emerging sustainability topics, contributing to thought leadership and service innovation

  • Lead and mentor junior team members, ensuring capability development, effective team performance, and high-quality outputs

  • Contribute to business development (BD) activities, including proposal development, client pitches, and identification of new opportunities

  • Deliver high-quality outputs within agreed timelines and budgets, consistently meeting or exceeding client expectations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, economics, engineering, or a related field

  • Experience: 5–10 years of relevant professional experience in ESG/climate consulting, sustainability strategy, or a related field, with demonstrated expertise across several of the following areas:

    • Development and execution of disclosure strategies and submissions for CDP, including score improvement initiatives

    • Experience supporting EcoVadis assessments and implementing supply chain ESG management frameworks

    • Greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting and verification, including Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions management and decarbonization strategy development

    • Climate risk and opportunity assessments, including scenario analysis, and evaluation of transition and physical risks

    • Natural capital and biodiversity-related risk/opportunity analysis and integration into corporate strategy and disclosure (e.g., TNFD-aligned approaches)

    • Application of sustainability and climate disclosure frameworks (e.g., TCFD, ISSB)

    • Sustainable finance experience, including green bonds, sustainability-linked loans, ESG integration into investment decision-making, or climate finance advisory

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, with capabilities in data analysis and visualization

  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills
