The Role

We are seeking Senior-level OGI Technicians to perform leak detection and emissions surveys at oil and gas facilities. This role involves using infrared (IR) cameras and PID analyzers to detect, document, and report gas leaks to clients and management. Most of the work will take place at outdoor production sites, well pads, pipeline facilities, and gas plants. This opportunity includes leadership development and a defined career path for long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or oversee field test teams conducting fugitive emissions monitoring projects.
  • Perform OGI surveys using infrared cameras and gas monitoring equipment.
  • Identify, document, and report leaks using digital reporting platforms.
  • Primary point of contact for communicating findings with clients and management.
  • Perform and oversee daily equipment checks, calibration, and routine maintenance.
  • Verify and document successful leak repairs.
  • Complete and close out surveys in a timely manner.
  • Follow all safety, site, and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid OGI certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Familiarity with oil and gas production, midstream, or gas plant equipment.
  • Two-year diploma and 4 years of equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and industrial environments.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
