Senior Ophthalmology Revenue Cycle Manager

Las Vegas, Nevada

As a 3-three-provider privately owned ophthalmology practice, we are adding a leader to oversee the revenue cycle of our practice, report directly to the owners, and lead the billing team.

What you'll do

• Own AR: work aging reports and follow up on every unpaid claim until it's resolved.
• Work denials and appeals and fix the root cause so they don't repeat.
• Post and reconcile payments so every payer deposit is matched.
• Code ophthalmology accurately across Medicare and commercial payers and work with physicians when documentation causes denials.
• Give the owners clear reporting and raise problems early.
• Guide the current team and build the department as we grow.
• Training for EMR System, coding education, ICD-10, HCPS and Health care insurance with MDs, ODs and all ancillary staff.
• Supervise and run chart auditing, insurance payment postings and patient payments.
• What you bring
• CPC, CPB or similar certification.
• Senior ophthalmology or eye-care insurance billing experience required.
• A proven record of reducing AR.
• Ability to manage a small team of billers.
