The Role
This is a high-impact leadership role for a finance professional who wants to operate at the center of manufacturing, supply chain, and strategic decision-making. As Senior Operations & Supply Chain Controller, you will serve as the key finance partner to our Singapore operations, helping shape how Lumilens scales manufacturing capability, drives cost discipline, and builds a resilient global supply chain. You will translate complex operational realities into clear financial insight, influence major investment decisions, and help leadership navigate growth with rigor and speed. For the right candidate, this is an opportunity to go well beyond traditional plant finance, to play a visible role in building the financial and operational foundation of a next-generation deep-tech company.
Role Purpose
Own the full finance partnership for Singapore operations and supply chain activities, ensuring financial visibility across manufacturing, inventory, sourcing, and capacity decisions.
Provide leadership with timely, data-driven insight that connects operational performance to margin, cash flow, capital efficiency, and long-term scalability.

Act as a trusted business partner to Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Tax, and executive leadership to improve decision quality and strengthen execution as the business grows.
COGS & cost engineering: Build, maintain, and continuously improve product and manufacturing cost models across conversion cost, yield, learning curves, and operational efficiency drivers. Partner closely with Operations and Engineering to identify cost-down opportunities, quantify tradeoffs, and improve margin performance as products scale.
Standard costing & transfer pricing: Lead the annual standard cost roll and ensure disciplined cost governance across the manufacturing environment. Partner with Group Tax and cross-border stakeholders to support robust intercompany transfer pricing structures for Singapore to US/Canada flows while balancing compliance, transparency, and business practicality.
Capex governance: Evaluate strategic capital investments with strong financial discipline, including business case development, IRR, payback, and NPV analysis, AFE approvals, and post-implementation reviews. Help leadership prioritize investments that unlock scale, efficiency, and operational readiness.
Inventory & E&O: Establish and strengthen inventory controls, valuation practices, excess and obsolete reserves, cycle count rigor, and consignment governance. Drive greater visibility into inventory health and working capital as the company scales production and supply chain complexity.
Close & reporting: Own monthly plant close deliverables, flash reporting, variance analysis, and management discussion inputs for leadership. Deliver clear, actionable insight into operating performance and help ensure financial results are well understood across both finance and operational teams.
Audit & controls: Serve as the primary finance lead for external audit and internal controls related to plant processes. Build scalable, audit-ready processes that support compliance while enabling speed and operational flexibility.
Decision support: Provide rigorous financial analysis for make-versus-buy decisions, sourcing strategy, manufacturing footprint, and new product introduction. Work cross-functionally with R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain to help Lumilens make smart, forward-looking decisions in a dynamic growth environment.
Team leadership: Build, mentor, and develop a strong operations finance capability over time, creating a high-performance team and clear development pathways across Singapore, Thailand, and the US. Lead with a hands-on, collaborative style and raise the bar for operational finance partnership across the organization.
