About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Operations Processor within the Contract Validation Team in Merchant Services. This role reviews Merchant Application packages prior to account opening in accordance with our procedures. Application packages which require corrections are communicated to Sales to ensure prompt resolution.


In this role, you will:

  • Complete Know Your Customer reviews prior to Account Opening.

  • Use technical expertise in the designated area and resolve escalated issues.

  • Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and customer support.

  • Perform complex operational and customer support initiatives within Operations functional area.

  • Assist staff, managers, and colleagues and provide guidance and interpretation of policies and procedures.

  • Apply technical knowledge and expertise to perform work and action requests.

  • Provide subject matter expertise and interpretation of procedures to staff.

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.

  • Interact with internal customers.

  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Merchant/payments processing experience.

  • Sales support experience.

  • CIP/CDD/AML/KYC background.

  • Leadership experience including coaching, training, and mentoring.

  • Document imaging experience.

  • Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

  • Ability to work in a high-volume environment.

  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy with a sense of urgency.


Job Expectations:

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am to 5pm.

  • Position will require onsite presence at one of the required locations listed below in a hybrid work schedule.

  • Flexibility to support global teams across time zones.

  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

  • Relocation assistance not available for this position.
