TheUniversity Department of Rural Health Northern Riversisseekingan experienced and proactive Senior Operations Officer to oversee the delivery of a dynamic simulation and clinical training program supporting students, clinicians, and healthcare professionals across the Northern Rivers region.
This is a newly redesigned role offering the opportunity to shape how the programoperates, strengthen partnerships with key health stakeholders, and drive improvements that enhance training outcomes andhealth workforce capacity
In this role, you will:
lead the operational delivery of simulation-based education and workforce training activities
build strong relationships with healthcare partners, clinicians, and university stakeholders
develop systems, processes, and governance frameworks that support sustainable growth
coordinate resources, facilities, schedules, and service delivery activities
supervise administrative staff and support a network of casual trainers
contribute to strategic initiatives and continuous improvement projects
About You
You are an experienced operations professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and bringing structure to complex environments.
You will bring:
experience managing operations, programs, or services within a complex organisation
strong stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills
demonstrated people leadership capability
excellent organisational and communication skills
the ability to balance competing priorities and influence outcomes
experience within healthcare, education, training, or related sectors will be highly regarded
