Job Description


Role Overview:

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational lifecycle of new franchise locations. This role will act as the central hub between international stakeholders, corporate departments, and local franchisees to ensure all stores are launched efficiently and according to brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination:

    Serve as the primary point of contact for international branches and Business Development teams to gather, categorize, and maintain all essential documentation for new franchise setups.

  • Launch Management:

    Direct the end-to-end pre-opening process for franchisees, overseeing timelines for interior design, site construction, initial inventory stocking, and grand opening assets.

  • Marketing Integration:

    Partner with the Creative and Marketing teams to ensure all promotional collateral for upcoming locations is produced and delivered on schedule.

  • Training Administration:

    Support the Training division by disseminating operational notices and curriculum to the network, while tracking and reporting on staff registration and participation.

  • Financial Oversight:

    Work closely with the Finance unit to manage and reconcile various payments, including location scouting fees, architectural costs, engineering expenses, and ongoing support royalties.

  • Supply Chain Liaison:

    Monitor logistics and warehouse status to ensure all necessary materials and equipment are prepared, dispatched, and tracked accurately.

  • Distributor Support:

    Supervise and guide national distributors regarding warehouse leasing milestones and operational best practices.

  • Conflict Resolution:

    Act as the lead mediator for franchisee inquiries or grievances during the setup phase, coordinating with internal departments to provide swift solutions.

  • Leadership Support:

    Execute additional strategic tasks and operational duties as requested by senior leadership.


Requirements


  • Must be fully bilingual in Mandarin and English to effectively lead store setups, interpret technical layouts, and manage cross-border communications.

  • Competent in fundamental operational math, including the ability to forecast revenue, analyze store performance, and estimate overhead costs.

  • Exceptional ability to identify potential bottlenecks, adapt to changing environments, and implement effective solutions under pressure.

  • A dedicated professional with high integrity and a commitment to confidentiality. Must possess strong interpersonal skills, a sharp eye for detail, and a results-driven mindset.
