JOB TITLE:Senior Operations Manager

COMPENSATION: $65,000-$70,000Annually
Responsible for directing and overseeing all Operations functions, including engineering, maintenance, event management, public safety, and custodial services. Coordinates activities across departments and contractors to ensure smooth event execution and facility readiness. Maintains compliance with laws, codes, and safety standards; develops policies, procedures, and training programs. Manages budgets, inventory, contracts, and vendor negotiations. Oversees preventive maintenance, emergency procedures, and special projects such as construction or expansion. Acts as a liaison with external agencies and serves as Manager on Duty whenrequired
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Directs, supervises, and schedules all aspects of Operations, includingengineering;building andgrounds;maintenance;eventconversion &technicalservices, including ADA compliance;publicsafety; and Custodial Services.
Coordinates the Operations activities with other departments and event-related contractors toensurefacility readiness and smooth operation of events.
Implements and updates facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Ensures all events are built, advanced, and fulfilled at the highest level with the event management and event operation team.
Provides clear, concise, andtimelycommunication of directives to other departments
Ensures that the Operations Department receives pertinent information for the most effective use of the facility and staffing.
Oversees maintenance of the Physical Plant, systems, equipment, and vehicles.
Authorizes the requisition of equipment and supplies within budget guidelines.
Provides yearly inventory of all equipment.
Knows and ensures all laws, codes, ordinances, policies, procedures, Risk Management, safety precautions, rules/regulations, and emergency procedures are followed.
Develops policies and procedures to ensure bestpractice ofcompliance with laws, regulations, and company standards.
Develops program to train all employees on Fire/Life Safety, Emergency, and OSHA Procedures.
Investigates, analyzes, and resolves operational problems and complaints.
Conducts periodic staff meetings to discuss procedures, problems, and policy changes.
Negotiates with vendors, unions, contractors, and/or service providers.
Develops and implements preventive maintenance schedules, emergency procedures, safety, and Risk Management policies in compliance with all Corporate and governmental regulations.
Acts asa liaisonto public utility, environmental, and energy agencies.
Serves as MOD (Manager on Duty) asrequired
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilitiesin accordance withall Legends Global policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a major in Management or Maintenance Engineering.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Supervising or Managing in a similar facility.
Additionalexperience may be substituted for education.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellentorganizationalskills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills required; ability to interact with all levels of staff, including management.
Ability to effectively supervise staff.
Professional presentation, appearance, and workethics
Knowledge of Microsoft Officeincluding Excel
Ability to work with limited supervision and as a team member.
Requires ability towork atevents plus flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
