What impact you’ll make?
As a leader of the Gas Power EMEA Europe GAAP by Legal Controllership Team, you will be an active contributor to the Integrity and Compliance of the Legal Entity GAAP Financials and process improvement objectives.
What you’ll do
Analyze & Report US GAAP Legal Entity Results ensuring compliance with US GAAP @ LE level
Support the annual US GAAP to Stat to Tax reporting & filing requirements incl BLP reviews, G2S2T walks etc.
Execute LE US GAAP adjustments timely as needed e.g. CSA restatements
Reduce the historical backlog reduction of Statutory/Tax adjustments that truly are US GAAP LE related
Support the annual Stat & Tax audit cycles whereappropriate
Provide oversight to ensuresystem & contract set ups are maintained/controlledfor US GAAP LE compliance
Support global and/or specific country US GAAP Legal Entity quality initiatives
Provide adhoc support e.g. customs audits, government specific audits, other misc matters connected to LEs
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
Major experience in audit, accounting and/or controllership related activities
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline / equivalent knowledge or experience
Fluent English knowledge is essential
Process mindset with proven capability in a cross / sub functional environment
US GAAP and Stat & Tax basic knowledge including any audit support experience
Clear thinker / communicator and comfortable making proposals and decision

Strong understanding of Gas Power CSAs and associated accounting – consolidated & LE GAAP
Understanding of Transfer Price concepts and other Tax related items e.g. TNMM, WHT etc.
Experience operating across key Gas Power financial systems e.g. Alpha, PMX etc.
Strong attention to detail & improvement mindset
Ability to influence multiple stakeholders across the organization
Preference will be given to current Gas Power Finance employees

This is a hybrid role with three days remote and two days in the office.
