Senior Online Admissions Rep

The Senior Online Admissions Representative is responsible for selectively screening, interviewing and enrolling prospective students and guiding them through the enrollment completion process. This position is also responsible for assisting students in attaining their educational and employment goals in support of the mission of the College.

Responsibilities

Student Recruitment Duties:

  • Conducts a high quantity of personal interviews to qualify prospective students and to explain the academic programs at Hondros College; advises on requirements to meet Hondros College’s admissions requirements; conducts follow-up activity with unresolved applicants.
  • Acts in a liaison capacity with other campus departments to ensure that student enrollment is efficient and delivered with a high degree of customer services
  • Understands and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of the admissions department and Hondros College of Nursing.
  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: distant outreach (texting, calling, emailing, etc.)to prospective students; helping representatives to set appointments and keep up on tasks necessary in the College Management Systems and all other associated work related systems.

Student Services Duties:

  • Uses all approved marketing and recruiting tools to educate prospective students about Hondros College
  • Uses an active listening and consultative approach to create a value proposition aligning prospective student needs to the college and its offerings
  • Carefully assesses all prospective students to ensure that they have the potential, traits ,characteristics, and meet the admissions criteria to qualify for admission consideration
  • Completes the applicant qualification process to determine student eligibility for admission byreviewing transcripts and entrance exam scores.
  • Fully understands Hondros College’s financing sources to be able to convey basic program eligibility requirements; refers students to the financial aid department as appropriate to ensure the prospective student understands all financial options
  • Ensures that satisfactory enrollment agreements are completed with each enrolled student in regards to proof of education, licensure, test scores, transferable courses and other enrollment variables that support students’ enrollments
  • Participates as a team member of the campuses admissions department by understanding team dynamics, rules and principles; works diligently and willingly towards the department plan and objectives
  • Participates and assists with on and off campus recruiting events; i.e. information sessions ,industry update meetings, campus-based open houses and job fairs, as needed
  • Assist the Campus Admissions Team and other Campus employees in tasks associated with document acquisition and file completion necessary to meet regulatory and compliance measures. This includes assisting with review of Direct Entry Option Credits, Proof of Graduation resolution, Academic Transcripts, Background Checks, and all associated enrollment associated measures – written or assigned.

Campus Advocate Duties:

  • Acts with integrity in all situations regardless of circumstance to ensure compliance standards are metAssists in the development and direction of the Admissions Department's activities by providingrecommendations in order to accomplish its goals and objectives
  • Motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance through positive energy
  • Serve as a role model for Admissions Representatives in support of the mission of HondrosCollege in an online/remote environment.
  • Provide the Campus Executive Director with weekly reports on Admissions performance –assisting in forecasting weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals.
  • Provide the Campus Executive Director with weekly run rates that support campus initiatives. This would include compiling campus activities such as entrance exam testers, admissions one on one meetings, admittance appointments, and identifying market trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Three years customer service experience, including two years’ experience working with admissions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of admissions programs and services
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with a variety of individuals at various organizational levels
  • Ability to identify and assess educational needs for prospective students and providerecommendations
  • Ability to identify and resolve escalated issues or recommend solutions
  • Ability to establish and meet deadlines
  • Ability to interpret federal and state regulations and ensure compliance

Our defined compensation structure is market competitive and is built to reward performance.A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role is $55,400-$74,800. We take a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including but not limited to: job and level hired into, location, skill set; experience and training; peer compensation and other business and organizational needsThis range is subject to change.
