Senior OLE Engineer

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join KBR during an exciting growth phase and contribute to iconic rail projects. The Overhead Line Equipment (OLE) Specialist is responsible for the study and design of rail transportation systems, managing designs from concept through to detailed delivery, including project management responsibilities such as delivery and cost control. The specialist will possess substantial professional experience, demonstrating competence as a fully trained specialist. You will provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members and liaise with clients to maintain and strengthen key relationships. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing technically sound, well-written, and clearly articulated proposals and reports.

Who are you?

• We are seeking an industry specialist with extensive experience in rail infrastructure projects, particularly in the detailed design of all aspects of OLE systems. You will also have a strong understanding of electrical systems, including earthing and bonding.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of commercial arrangements and client relationships.
• Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and have CPEng accreditation or demonstrate sufficient experience to obtain it.
