Main Purpose
Commercial physical oil logistics/blending operations and trader support. Co-ordinates all aspects of the post-deal trading activity to ensure contract execution runs smoothly. Provide commercial/market information to the trader as necessary. Co-ordinate shipping/logistics in order to effect the trade successfully. Handling product blending in terminal. Assists in the research of new business opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
5-8 years' of operational experience in oil trading, with deep experience in oil cargo execution and blending operations.
Ability to optimise operational plans, manage costs and handle multiple cargoes in a fast-paced environment.
Problem solving ability to manage operational challenges and mitigate risks.
Ability to establish good working relationships with relevant counterparties.
Strong communication skills and numeral literacy are very important.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end operational execution of oil trades from recap to completion, including STS transfers, storage movements and blending activities. Coordinate closely with traders, chartering, agents, surveyors and counterparties to ensure smooth cargo execution, while optimising operational plans, managing costs and identifying operational risks early to ensure efficient and timely trade completion.
