Job Description

In this role, you'll:


You will partner with project teams and delivery partners to drive sustainability outcomes across transport infrastructure programs and projects, ensuring alignment with organisational and government priorities.


You will provide expert sustainability advice and guidance across a diverse portfolio of road, heavy rail, light rail, and maritime projects throughout their lifecycle, from business case to delivery and operations.


You will collaborate with stakeholders by participating in project meetings, influencing decision-making, and embedding sustainable practices into project planning and delivery.


You will support multiple projects across NSW, monitoring sustainability initiatives and helping achieve environmental, social, and economic sustainability objectives across the transport network.

About you


You have strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, enabling you to provide trusted sustainability advice across complex transport infrastructure projects.


Your expertise in sustainability frameworks and rating tools helps project teams embed sustainable practices throughout project planning, delivery, and operations.


You are skilled in advising on carbon management, circular economy principles, and climate resilience to support long-term project outcomes.


You are a recognised sustainability professional with experience partnering across diverse stakeholders and delivering sustainability outcomes within transport infrastructure environments.
