Senior Officer (Programme Quality Assurance and Research Postgraduate Administration) (25260810)

The Graduate School is committed to advancing the University’s strategic vision by delivering high-quality administrative support for research postgraduate education. We are seeking a proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented professional to join our team and contribute to the continued excellence of our research postgraduate programmes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive secretariat support, including paper preparation, minute-taking, and follow-up;
• Coordinate programme accreditation or quality assurance reviews with internal departments and external stakeholders;
• Compile and analyse statistics and prepare reports to support decision-making and programme development;
• Support the full student lifecycle for research postgraduate programmes, including admissions, enrolment, registration, and graduation; and
• Maintain and verify student records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant discipline;
• 3-5 years of experience in academic administration, programme accreditation, compliance or related fields;
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Analytical mindset with a high level of accuracy and responsibility;
• A collaborative team player with good organisational skills;
• Demonstrated experience in monitoring and coordinating internal and external timelines to ensure on‑time completion of tasks and submissions; and
• Willingness to work occasional hours outside normal working hours to support operational needs.

Occasional travel to Chinese Mainland is required.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years, renewable subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written assessment.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
