
Senior Officer - Global Operations Standards (Ref: 2600003N)
Responsibilities Synthesise information for development of Global Operations Standards (GOS) which defines MTR’s brand promises for flexible adaptation in respective operations hubs in service delivery Administer the editing, updating and dissemination processes of Global Operations Standards and support the development of knowledge management of GOS Institute portal and documentation Distil and deliver knowledge pertinent to railway benchmarking and relevant studies and reports to facilitate adoption of best practices, disseminate benchmarking reports to line managers as appropriate Coordinate regular workshops for reviewing and assuring observance of Global Operations Standards in Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland and Overseas Coordinate the international railway benchmarking programmes for the Corporation Coordinate processing of KPIs, study initiatives and questionnaires of transport operations, and support other benchmarking initiatives as required Perform data analysis to examine performance drivers of high performance metros and recommend strategy for improving operational performance
Requirements Degree in Management, Business Administration, Engineering or Science with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience; OR Higher Diploma with a minimum of 8 years' relevant experience, of which 3 years should be at supervisory level Good understanding of railway engineering and operations management systems Knowledge of statistical techniques & software and knowledge management systems Proficiency in both written and spoken English & Chinese (including Cantonese & Putonghua)
