The primary role is to manage the day-to-day accounting operations and to provide high quality and timely financial report according to the local regulation and reporting to Regional Finance team.

  • Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the accounting function to ensure that accounting books and records are accurately maintained in accordance with financial policies and procedures, and that appropriate internal control frameworks are implemented and regularly reviewed.
  • Review and propose updates to accounting policies and procedures in line with business scale and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate with banks to ensure timely processing of payment vouchers and accurate beneficiary information.
  • Coordinate with banks to obtain competitive interest rates and support the HOD in term deposit planning in compliance with LRAP.
  • Serve as the custodian of accounting and banking systems.
  • Improve and optimize the accounting system to support business growth.
  • Act as the primary contact with banks for any ad hoc or operational requirements.
  • Coordinate with other Group entities to monitor and reconcile intercompany balances and transactions.
  • Take ownership of the preparation of accurate and timely financial and management reports for the HOD, including but not limited to Profit & Loss, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, Financial Statements, and all regulatory reports required by SSC, NFSC, SBV, and the Statistics Department.
  • Liaise with external auditors (Big4 – EY, PwC, etc.) and internal auditors (GwIA), and provide required supporting documentation.
  • Review and analyze financial transactions to detect and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and submit monthly and annual tax filings, including VAT, WHT, CIT, PIT, and ensure timely settlement of all tax liabilities.
  • Advise the Admin team on any additions, revisions, or amendments to ensure alignment with company policies.
  • Perform reconciliation and verification of trade union contributions and social insurance.
  • Prepare DTA documentation and other ad hoc tax reports as required.
  • Issuing VAT invoices timely.
  • Stay updated on financial, tax, and regulatory changes relevant to business operations in Vietnam.
  • Support the HOD in the preparation of company plans and other ad hoc reports.
  • Manage company assets, coordinate with IT on the annual asset inventory, and recommend appropriate asset management approaches to the HOD to ensure efficiency and proper control.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and payable functions, and collaborate with management to periodically review and recommend appropriate trading terms for customers and suppliers.
  • Develop, mentor, and retain suitable talent within the accounting team.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
