- Facilitate utility/facility services as per process requirements.
- Ensure smooth functioning of plant maintenance by providing on time engineering support to Production or Non-Production departments.
- Upkeep the Plant and machinery with minimum down time.
- Follow GMP and safety with respect to APIPL procedures.
Job Responsibilities

Maintenance Activities:
- To attend to the plant maintenance jobs with receipt of notification issued by the user department.
- Execution of job assigned by analyzing the nature of job with suitable permit as per APIPL procedures.
- Isolation of electrical feeder / electrical source as per LOTO procedure for any plant maintenance activity.
- Performing annual shutdown maintenance of all electrical panels, utilities, UPS and other planned activities.
- Ensuring and complying of all electrical system are as per electrical standards for annual electrical inspection.
- Do the plant maintenance of electrical systems, electrical activity associated with process, utility and facility.
- Operation and Maintenance of all DGs, UPS, process and facility chillers, A/Cs, UPS power and precision coolers and performing daily checks.
- Coordination with user departments to perform the Calibration activity as per APIPL procedures.
- Co-ordination with authorized service personnel/service contractor to perform plant activity as per AMC schedule and adhering to all APIPL procedures.
- Maintaining and updating of Service records and AMC reports, ensuring of AMC services are carried out in time as per approved AMC schedule.
- Operation of all utilities as and when required as per APIPL procedures.
- Co-ordination with authorized service personnel to perform periodical checks as per AMC schedule of available AMC agreements.
- Maintaining of logbooks and any other records as per APIPL procedures.
- Maintaining healthiness of earth pits and carrying out periodic tests to ensure good and reliable earthing.
- Suggestions for energy / cost saving proposals.
- Maintaining of water levels in underground and overhead water storage tanks on PB-1, PB-2, QC, R& D and utility for process and other use.
- Ensure Safety at work as per APIPL safety procedures.
- Attend the safety, cGMP, SOP and other internal trainings and external training (As and when required).
- To carry out any other tasks set by management from time to time.
- Operation of Track wise application.
- Maintaining of all HT/ LT / DG panels, distribution transformer and other electrical panels, panel rooms, UPS rooms, lift rooms are maintained as per electrical standard Act. Perform electrical compliance points as per annual electrical inspection.
Project Activities:
- Discussion with project team in detail to understand the project & project drawings.
- Preparation of MOM
- Organizing and utilizing the resources required for the work.
- Safety Instructions to the contractors /vendors/visitors. Regular training on safety PPE’s to the people working at project site and ensure the area cleanliness.
- Documentation of the necessary Equipment’s related to projects. Obtaining necessary documents like DQ, Test certificates, MOC certificates, Drawings, Installation report etc.
- Installation, erection and qualification of electrical systems as per APIPL procedures.
- Report to superior in case of major breakdown/abnormalities, discuss and plan day to day activities.

- Education
- Diploma/BE in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience
- 3 to 4 years of Experience in Engineering functions
