- Formulate bank-wide goals, strategic imperatives, and success metrics in collaboration with senior management, and cascade them to the business unit level with clear milestones and deliverables
- Conduct research and analysis of market trends, the competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and threats to the bank’s business
- Co-develop portfolio-level strategies with business units, identify areas for improvement, recommend strategic solutions, and translate them into actionable plans for cross-functional projects to enhance business unit and overall bank performance
- Set bank-level Balanced Scorecard (BSC) and executive KPIs, ensuring alignment with bank-level targets across business units, including the SCBX Group
- Develop and implement performance metrics and reporting frameworks to regularly monitor progress and deliverables toward strategic goals and objectives
- Provide guidance and support to business units in executing strategic initiatives by facilitating cross-functional collaboration and driving execution, ensuring alignment with the bank’s overall strategy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic planning, corporate development, or a related field. Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing strategic plans and initiatives
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Strong English language skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and key stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive results in a collaborative environment
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry trends within the financial services sector
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise initiative, maintain strong attention to detail, and consistently meet deadlines
