The Senior Officer Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) plays a key role in managing day-to-day baggage operations across all ADIA terminals. Responsibilities include overseeing daily allocations, efficiently planning and managing BHS resources for both Arrivals and Departures, implementing contingency measures and business continuity plans, and coordinating maintenance schedules. The role also involves conducting daily briefings with internal and external stakeholders, supporting BHS Contracts on maintenance procedures, ensuring uninterrupted baggage operations, making critical decisions during system breakdowns, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. The position is central to smooth airport operations and fostering positive relationships across teams.
