About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Office 365 Specialist / M365 Solution Architect to support a major Digital Workplace transformation initiative.

The project focuses on the migration from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365, beginning with a critical email migration phase, followed by the transition of files and collaboration environments from Google Drive to OneDrive and Microsoft Teams. In parallel, you will help shape the future vision for a modern, integrated digital workplace.

Working alongside project management, technical teams, business stakeholders, and change management professionals, you will play a key role in ensuring a seamless migration and successful adoption of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the migration from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365.
• Design and implement scalable Microsoft 365 solutions and governance models.
• Establish and maintain Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online Governance frameworks.
• Support the migration of file repositories from Google Drive to OneDrive and Teams.
• Assist in planning and workload management using Azure DevOps and structured Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
• Apply Scrum methodologies and facilitate Agile ceremonies.
• Provide operational support, user guidance, and technical documentation.
• Monitor platform performance and contribute to continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and change management teams to deliver a successful Digital Workplace transformation.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have

• Minimum 10 years of experience as an M365 Solution Architect.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Office 365.
• Proven experience within the higher education sector.
• Demonstrated experience migrating Google Workspace to Microsoft 365.
• Experience creating and managing Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online Governance structures.
• Fluent Dutch language skills ( CEFR C2 level).

Preferred Skills

• Experience as a Scrum Master and Agile Coach.
• Hands-on experience implementing, deploying, and supporting Office 365 environments.
• Strong background in operational support, user assistance, documentation, and service monitoring.
• Experience with coding, testing, and debugging activities.
• Experience integrating Microsoft 365 with Microsoft Dynamics
• Experience designing document management solutions.
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
