Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Occupational Therapy Practitioner to join an innovative Adult Social Care service in Brighton & Hove for its client.
This is an exciting leadership opportunity to support the development and delivery of a new Reablement Front Door Pilot, helping shape the future of Adult Social Care through early intervention, strengths-based practice, and service transformation.

What will your responsibilities be?

As the Senior Occupational Therapy Practitioner, you will provide professional Occupational Therapy leadership while overseeing the operational delivery of a multidisciplinary team within the Access to Adult Social Care service.

You will play a key role in ensuring people receive timely reablement support at the first point of contact, promoting independence, reducing demand for long-term care, and improving overall system flow.

Alongside day-to-day leadership, you will contribute to the ongoing development and evaluation of the pilot, using performance data and service insights to help shape future models of care.

  • Lead and manage the Reablement Front Door pilot service.
  • Provide expert Occupational Therapy leadership and clinical oversight.
  • Line manage and support a multidisciplinary team.
  • Deliver strengths-based assessments and interventions that maximise independence.
  • Drive service improvement and transformation initiatives.
  • Monitor performance, quality assurance, governance, and data quality.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Support pilot evaluation and evidence gathering to inform future service development.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist with current HCPC registration.
  • Significant experience within Adult Social Care and reablement services.
  • Previous leadership or management experience.
  • Proven involvement in service improvement or transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of strengths-based practice and multidisciplinary working.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
