Job Description

Ready to step beyond a standard caseload and progress your OT career?

Our Springwood office is one of our larger sites, home to a multidisciplinary team of 19, including nine Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners and Exercise Physiologists. The team is wholesome, warm and down-to-earth, genuinely enjoying each other’s company and regularly catching up over team breakfasts and lunches. The office is modern and open-plan, featuring well-resourced clinic rooms and excellent on-site parking. Conveniently located just off the motorway, it offers easy access for community visits.

Your caseload will be diverse, providing the opportunity to work across the lifespan with NDIS participants living with developmental and acquired disabilities, as well as aged care community clients accessing Support at Home funding. This is an excellent opportunity for Occupational Therapists to broaden their experience, work across a varied client base, and make a meaningful impact in the community.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to take the next step in their career, developing and refining their supervision and mentoring skills while shaping the growth of other clinicians. You will have the chance to share your expertise, support emerging therapists and play a key role in building a strong, high-performing team, all while continuing to advance your own leadership capability.

Day-to-day you will:

  • Conduct meaningful assessments and design impactful therapy plans in diverse environments, from participants' homes to day centres, parks, and even at the beach
  • Build enduring relationships with clients and witness the lasting impact of your work.
  • Innovate and Collaborate: Whether you're dealing with complex cases, exploring new treatment approaches, or facing professional challenges, you'll have a whole multidisciplinary team in your corner.

  • Support and Supervision: You'll be surrounded by colleagues who support you through challenges and an experienced and dedicated 1:1 Supervisor to guide you.
  • Professional Development Flexible and personalised PD budget of up to $2,500 per year to use as study leave, funding towards external learning and courses or a combination of both!
  • Resources: The works- laptop, phone + all of our sites have therapy and assessment resources ready to grab and go.

Freedom to Work Your Way

We've created an environment where you can personalise your work style and schedule. Want to split your time between online, in-clinic and community work? We’re here to prioritise whatever makes you the best clinician you can be with:

  • Better Flex Policy: Flexible hours and the opportunity to flex off when you’ve completed your client work!

About You

We're after OT’s who get restless when they see room for improvement and aren't afraid to speak up about it. Who have a fire in their belly about participant care and treat participant goals like personal missions, not just checkboxes on a form.

The ones who have the courage to challenge ideas (yes, even ours) when participant’s interests are at stake.

If this sounds like you, we might just be right for each other.

Qualifications

  • Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist – limited may be considered on a case by case basis
