Join our Dynamic team in Canberra:

An exciting opportunity awaits in Australia's Capitol - You could be joining CPA in our Canberra clinic, working closely with a senior multidisciplinary team of 16 therapists. Here you will support clients with Cerebral Palsy or similar neurological presentations, the caseload beckons to those who enjoy working with infants and children whilst also supporting adults across the lifespan.

The site boasts 7 clinical rooms, 4 cars and an accessible gym. We have several rooms with ceiling hoists and plinths to enable access to all clients. The site is equipped with in-house resources, including a magic carpet, lite gait, hi-lo specialised seating, wheelchairs, standing frames and a mix of high tech AAC devices to use with clients. Appointments in Canberra will be both in the clinic, and also out in the community allowing our team to extend support beyond Canberra into surrounding NSW.

At Cerebral Palsy Alliance we pride ourselves on our extensive library of internal professional development available to staff, including the newly launched CPAdvance comprehensive learning platform that supports clinicians to deliver evidenced-based interventions to children aged 0 – 3 years at risk, or diagnosed with, cerebral palsy or similar neuro disabilities. Canberra has regional partnerships with 4 other CPA clinics making up a broader team of 60 employees allowing us to collaborate and bring both training opportunities to staff, career progression, and intervention and support for clients

What We Offer?

  • Salary:clinical salaries are graded with an approximate range of $80-140k incl super including tax free packaging; for more information, please discuss with our recruitment team.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Relevant qualifications in Occupational Therapy

  • Evidence of current AHPRA registration.

  • A current driver's license and your own vehicle

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
