Join Horizon Power as a Senior Networks Officer and play a key role in maintaining, commissioning and improving critical transmission network infrastructure across the Pilbara. This hands-on leadership position combines technical expertise, project coordination and mentoring responsibilities, helping deliver safe and reliable power to regional Western Australian communities.

Your role in action:

  • Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault-finding on transmission network assets and protection systems.
  • Coordinate and support transmission projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Develop switching programs and undertake complex network switching and commissioning activities.
  • Mentor and coach Network Officers while providing technical leadership across the team.
  • Supervise contractors and collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver network outcomes.

What you’ll bring:

  • Current WA Electrical Workers Licence and strong experience in transmission networks and protection systems.
  • Significant experience with electrical network switching, including Secondary Isolation Schedule (SIS) switching.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop others.
  • Strong knowledge of transmission operations, maintenance practices and safety requirements.
  • HR Driver's Licence, EWP High Risk Licence and a commitment to working safely in a regional environment.
