What´s the role?

As a Senior Network Support Engineer you will be esponsible for the service delivery of the network, including developing network designs and integrations for wireless, wireline, and broadband infrastructure. You'll provide solutions and guidance in initiatives and troubleshooting and lead internal and external resources to achieve desired results and frequently provide direction to senior technical and management leadership. You will also apply the necessary tools and engineering principles to create and design the network infrastructure in accordance with approved guidelines.

How can you add value?

  • Coordinate and interface with internal and external customers to ensure service commitments are met.
  • Lead initial implementation support of networks to assure proper execution and provides resolution for system failures or degradations.
  • Lead troubleshoot, design, implement, administer, integrate and monitor different data networks services.
  • Lead engineering support for all data transport – Network design, Network integrations and Service Migrations, cutovers and MOPs development.
  • Provide engineering support for pre-sales, provisioning, and post-sales support for all IP Network Services.
  • Interface with internal areas like Data Operations, Circuit Design, NOC, Order Entry, Data Provisioning and FOM for implementation, integration, testing, problem resolution.
  • Plan and schedule to ensure the timely completion of several independent tasks and projects, with limited direction.
  • Support internal cross-functional teams and external technology partners to prioritize, estimate and complete projects in support of business.
  • Act as Engineering Lead of Core Data Network integration projects
  • Provide the technical troubleshooting and leadership skills required to recover from the most complex network problems in real time to restore service
  • As subject matter expert, work closely with business partners to identify and quantify business issues associated with specific projects, develop and implement business strategy, and assist in setting strategic technical direction in support of customer facing organizations.
  • Review and approve proposed technical systems design to ensure business requirements are met.
  • May assist in providing leadership for projects, including such activities as collaborating with the client to develop business cases, defining business and/or technical requirements and preparing detailed plans and schedules.
  • May lead cross-functional teams on specific issues &/or projects.
  • Demonstrates and ensures compliance with the Customer First Philosophy, all Liberty’s policies and procedures including the Code of Conduct and Liberty safety standards and procedures.
  • Other functions may be assigned.

What do you need?

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering degree or related field.

10+ plus years of technical experience.
