We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support a DoD enterprise healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will provide engineering, administration, troubleshooting, and operational support for enterprise LAN/WLAN/WAN infrastructure while ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing network services. This role serves as a technical lead supporting complex Cisco network environments and collaborating with Government and contractor teams.
Responsibilities
· Design, implement, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN/WLAN/WAN infrastructure.
· Support Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, IDS, and enterprise network services.
· Troubleshoot routing, switching, and network connectivity issues across all OSI layers.
· Monitor network performance and availability using enterprise network management tools.
· Perform network security hardening, firewall administration, and VPN configuration.
· Support configuration management, network optimization, documentation, and technical standards.
· Develop technical recommendations, SOPs, and network documentation.
· Collaborate with Government personnel and technical teams to resolve complex network issues.
Required Experience
· 5+ years of enterprise Network Engineering experience.
· Experience supporting large Cisco enterprise environments.
· Experience with LAN/WLAN/WAN infrastructure, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.
· Experience supporting DoD or other Federal environments preferred.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience; OR Technical/Vocational degree with 10+ years of progressively responsible Network Engineering experience.
Required Certifications
· IAM Level III (DoD 8570/8140 compliant)
· CCNP
· CISSP
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting DoD Healthcare Information Systems, Zero Trust Architecture, network automation, OTDR, network analyzers/sniffers, EIA/TIA standards, and strong technical documentation skills.
