Summary of Role

We are seeking highly skilled Senior Network Engineers to be
based onsite, providing Tier 2/3 technical support and augmenting the current
permanent support team. The role will primarily focus on first-line support
call resolution, while also contributing to network projects, design,
implementation, and operations.

The successful candidates will play a key role in managing
and supporting local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and Cisco
ACI data centre environments, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal
performance.

Responsibilities

• 
  Provide Tier 2/3 network support and troubleshoot complex
  incidents.
• 
  Support 1st line service desk calls and ensure timely
  resolution.
• 
  Participate in network projects, including design,
  deployment, and upgrades.
• 
  Perform configuration, implementation, and maintenance of
  network infrastructure.
• 
  Manage and support Cisco ACI environments.
• 
  Assist in network security implementation and monitoring.
• 
  Develop and maintain technical standards, procedures, and
  documentation.
• 
  Perform network performance monitoring, optimization, and
  troubleshooting.
• 
  Collaborate with internal teams to support business and
  IT objectives.

Requirements

Qualifications

• 
  Matric and Tertiary Qualification
• 
  Active Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) – Data
  Centre (mandatory).
• 
  Minimum of 5 years' practical experience in a similar
  role.
• 
  5 years Network Management Service (Cisco Prime, Cisco
  DNAC, Cisco Nexus Dashboard Data Centre Security
• 
  Wireless certification (advantageous).

Strong experience in:

• 
  Network Virtualization
• 
  Automation and Orchestration
• 
  Develop and update technical standards/guides documents;
• 
  Network virtualization, Automation, Orchestration, and
  Data Centre Security
• 
  Proven experience in enterprise network design and
  operations.
• 
  Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI environments.
• 
  Network Management Tools
• 
  Cisco Prime
• 
  Cisco DNA Center (DNAC)
• 
  Cisco Nexus Dashboard

Minimum Skills Requirement:

• 
  Active Certified CCIE (Data Centre) with a minimum of
  five (5) years practical experience. (Wireless certification an added
  advantage);
• 
  Develop and update technical standards/guides documents;
• 
  Network virtualization, Automation, Orchestration, and
  Data Centre Security
• 
  Five (5) years Network Management Service (Cisco Prime,
  Cisco DNAC, Cisco Nexus Dashboard) practical working knowledge and support
