We’re looking for Senior Network Engineer join us at Telia.

I am Oleg Voronič, leading the Network Project Delivery Team at Telia Lietuva. Our team is responsible for delivering network projects for Telia Lietuva’s internal and commercial clients. Telia Lietuva operates multiple modern data centers that meet the highest security standards, providing IT services to many well-known Lithuanian companies.

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for the implementation and execution of network projects not only in Telia Lietuva managed data centers but also in customer environments and public cloud.
• Focus will be on breaking down complex projects into structured steps, following best practices, and ensuring successful delivery.
• Design, implement, and configure network infrastructure based on project requirements.
• Manage expectations and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Identify and troubleshooting challenges during project execution to ensure timely resolution.
• Keep documentation up-to-date and aligned with delivery standards
• Collaborate with project managers, architects and engineers to achieve smooth deployments

What will help you thrive in this role:

• You have a strong background in networking and a structured approach to project execution.
• You can break down network projects into clear steps and follow through on them. When faced with blockers, you take initiative to find solutions instead of getting stuck.
• Experience working with data center switches (Cisco Nexus 3K/5K/9K), strong knowledge of OSPF, BGP, and IP networking, familiarity with L2/L3 network protocols such as VLAN, VRRP, LACP, MC-LAG, EVPN with VXLAN, DHCP, and DNS, experience with NGFW firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortigate, Checkpoint).
• Experience in deploying and configuring network equipment in production environments.
• Good documentation skills and ability to follow structured processes.
• Fluency in Lithuanian and English (spoken and written).

Nice to have:

• Experience with data center network controllers (such as Cisco NDFC), network automation (Python, Ansible), familiarity with F5 ADC, WAF, VMware NSX-T, or public cloud networking (AWS, Azure).
• Experience in network project delivery.

Monthly salary range for this position – 4000-6500 Eur (gross) + annual performance bonuses Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
