Location: Remote, USA (must currently reside in the US for consideration)
Contract Position: 12-18months+
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Network Engineer with strong experience in network design and security. The position plays a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of secure, scalable, and reliable enterprise data network infrastructure. Requires deep knowledge of network security principles, Cisco technologies, and industry best practices, along with the ability to lead large and complex enterprise network initiatives.
Qualifications: Certification as a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) or Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE) At least 8 years of experience gathering and analyzing business requirements and developing network specifications Proven success in the design, development, and implementation of data network infrastructures Strong understanding of network security principles and Cisco technologies Experience leading complex enterprise network initiatives Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams
Key Responsibilities: Design and implement secure, high-availability network architectures using Cisco technologies Lead enterprise network design assessments and modernization projects Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical network specifications Apply and enforce network security principles, standards, and compliance frameworks Coordinate and execute network testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of network solutions
