The Senior Network Automation and Tool Integration Engineer designs and delivers secure, end-to-end automation across enterprise network, observability, IT service management, and DevOps platforms. This role connects existing workflows in Python and Ansible automation with GitLab Duo, Ansible Automation Platform, Cisco SD-WAN controllers, Catalyst Center, Splunk Cloud, OpenText NNMi, ServiceNow, and ThousandEyes.
The engineer develops reusable Python services, REST API integrations, Ansible workflows, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines that convert manual processes and standalone scripts into scalable, governed automation services. Responsibilities include automated provisioning, configuration validation, incident enrichment, compliance checks, event correlation, change execution, post-change validation, and closed-loop remediation.
The ideal candidate has strong Python, API, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, and enterprise integration experience, combined with practical knowledge of LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, telemetry, and network operations.
