MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Network Administrator to join our team at Constanta, Romania This role supports the EMITS program, providing critical infrastructure support for U.S. Army Europe operations. This is an unaccompanied position.

Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Perform network engineering functions including the conceptualization, design, implementation, and optimization of network infrastructure.
  • Assess evolving user needs and translate requirements into network changes through reconfiguration and hardware/software acquisitions.
  • Apply current and emerging network software, hardware technology, and protocols to ensure high-stakes mission connectivity.
  • Solve complex engineering problems and manage technical solutions for diverse network environments.
  • Install, test, and maintain network hardware and software to ensure continuous operational readiness.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to optimize network performance and security across the facility.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of related network administration or engineering experience.
  • Must possess an active CCNA certification (IAT Level II) in compliance with DoD 8140/8740 requirements.
  • Ability to obtain an ITIL Foundations 4 certification within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Demonstrated initiative and sound judgment in managing complex technical environments and decision-making.
  • Proven ability to provide clear oral and written technical communication to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with network design, testing procedures, and hardware/software integration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possession of CompTIA Linux+, Network+, or Security+ certifications.
  • Advanced Cisco certifications such as CCNA Voice or CCNP Voice.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Previous experience supporting U.S. Army Europe (USAREUR) missions or similar government contracting environments.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and other equipment.
  • You will constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • You must be able to constantly position yourself to maintain computers in the lab, including working under desks and in server closets.
  • This role frequently moves audio/visual or computer equipment weighing up to 70 pounds across and around a business campus or large facility.
