We’re looking for a skilled Net developer to join a distributed, international team working on high-impact solutions in the marine and energy insurance sector
Our client is a Norway-based industry leader, delivering mission-critical software used by top-tier underwriters and brokers worldwide. With decades of maritime expertise and a strong focus on modern technology, they build robust digital platforms that power complex risk and claims management across the global insurance market.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Contribute across the full development lifecycle — from idea to production
Design and develop new features and services
Improve and refactor existing systems for performance and scalability
Collaborate closely with stakeholders, product teams, and engineers
Help drive technical decisions and best practices
Professional requirements:
5+ years of experience with Net/C#
Databases: MS SQL Server, CosmosDB
Basic knowledge with DevOps processes and CI/CD
Queue messaging: Azure ServiceBus and EventGrid
Structuring code with SOLID principles in mind clean architecture
Interest for distributed systems and security best practices
Experience with REST based applications or similar
Education from IT – Bachelor or higher
English: upper intermediate, both verbal and written
Nice to have:
Experience in insurance or financial systems
Familiarity with GitHub workflows
Experience with unit & integration testing
Good documentation practices
