We are looking for an experienced .NET Senior Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performance digital solutions on the Optimizely platform. You will work as a skilled individual contributor within a collaborative engineering team, leveraging AI-assisted development practices to deliver scalable, cloud-native applications — while working closely with product, design, and fellow engineers to bring complex features to life.
Design and implement robust, scalable backend services using C# and .NETCore (.NET 8+)
Build and maintain Optimizely CMS / Commerce / DXP solutions — including content modeling, APIs,middlewareand custom integrations.
Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot,Vertex Studios,Claude codeassistor equivalent LLM-based tooling to improve velocity and code quality.
Write clean, well-tested code andparticipateactively in code reviews, contributing constructive feedback to peers.
Develop andmaintainRESTful andGraphQLAPIs consumed by front-end teams, third-party systems, and microservices.
Work with cloud infrastructure on Azure; contribute toIaCpractices (Terraform / Bicep).
Write andmaintainautomated tests — unit, integration, and regression — in collaboration with QA.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across backend services and platform integrations.
Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical discovery with cross-functional teams.
Stay current on emerging technologies — including AI/ML services — and share learnings with the team.
