Amatriot is seeking a Senior .NET Application Developer to support the mission of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). This role develops and enhances applications that provide critical tools for DEA personnel and the broader law enforcement community. The position works within an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions, support legacy applications as needed, and contribute to application development across Classified, Unclassified, and Sensitive but Unclassified environments.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development
- Develop and enhance applications built within the Concorde framework.
- Deliver high-quality, efficient software solutions in a collaborative team environment.
- Support non-Concorde legacy applications as needed to maintain operational continuity.
- Package and deliver software and supporting documentation to production environments.
Agile Development
- Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, task execution, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies.
- Adhere to Agile development principles throughout the software development lifecycle.
Collaboration
- Participate in meetings, technical discussions, and demonstrations related to application development.
- Support application and data development across Classified, Unclassified, and Sensitive but Unclassified environments.
DevSecOps Support
- Apply a foundational understanding of DevSecOps principles in development activities.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An additional 14+ years of demonstrated experience may be substituted.
Experience
- 10+ years of general experience, including 10 years of specialized and/or hands-on experience using Agile development methodologies.
- 8+ years of recent ASP.NET C# MVC-based web development experience using Visual Studio 2017 or later.
- 5+ years of .NET Core/.NET Standard development experience.
- 5+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies, including sprint participation, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies.
- Experience developing software in environments supporting more than 10,000 users and relational database management systems (RDBMS) containing more than 250 tables and over 1 million rows.
- Experience packaging and deploying software and documentation to production environments.
Skills
- Strong experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, LINQ, MVC, Entity Framework, Unity, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, and ReSharper.
- Significant JavaScript development experience.
- Significant experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
- Experience with relational data models and SQL.
- Experience with XML and programming libraries for XML manipulation.
- Experience using Team Foundation Server in Agile development environments.
- Ability to quickly deliver small projects and transition frequently between projects and applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Clearance
- Active Secret clearance.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
