Job Description

Looking for an opportunity to broaden your commercial experience and play a key role supporting our national Sales teams?

We have a 12-month opportunity for a Senior National Support Analyst within our Independents team. This role sits at the centre of pricing, promotional activity, planning data and sales support, helping ensure our teams have accurate information and effective processes to make strong commercial decisions.

At Lion, we're home to some of Australia and New Zealand's most recognised and loved beverage brands. Behind those brands is a diverse business with opportunities to work across different teams, customers and functions. This secondment is a great opportunity to build your Lion network, broaden your commercial understanding and develop experience in a role that connects Sales, customers, systems and data.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting promotional and core pricing activity, including CPI pricing and wholesaler requirements.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate pricing, trade spend and planning information.
  • Working across wholesale portals and internal systems to support effective execution.
  • Partnering closely with Sales, Customer Support and other teams to resolve issues and keep activity moving.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce duplication and strengthen ways of working.
  • Providing guidance, prioritisation and support to analyst workflows.
  • Using data and reporting to support commercial decisions.

The role has a broad national scope across Lion Australia's customer teams, with a particular focus on Independents.

What you'll bring

  • Strong Excel skills, including confidence using tools such as XLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
  • Experience working with data, systems and operational processes.
  • Good commercial understanding and an interest in pricing and promotional activity.
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to understand the downstream impact of changes.
  • Confidence building relationships and working closely with Sales teams and other stakeholders.
  • A proactive, forward-thinking approach with an interest in continuous improvement.
  • Ability to prioritise, delegate and guide others to deliver.
  • FMCG or experience within a large corporate environment would be beneficial.

If you're looking to step outside your current area, grow your commercial capability and gain broader exposure across Lion, this is a great opportunity to make an impact while continuing to develop your career.
