We currently have an opportunity for a National Programme Coordinator to join our Department of Corrections and the Ministry of Justice team and play a key role in our high performance Project team.Reporting to National Programme Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
Te Kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
Downer holds a long-term Asset Management and Facilities Management contract with the Department of Corrections and the Ministry of Justice that proactively manages and delivers to the national portfolio of facilities including 15 prisons, 98 courts and 141 community correctional sites.
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised National Programme Coordinator to support the successful delivery of projects across our client portfolio. This role is focused on coordinating and driving project activities from planning through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Working closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients, you will play a key role in maintaining strong relationships, supporting programme performance, and contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Support programme coordination across multiple concurrent projects (bulk works experience advantageous)

Show strong organisational, prioritisation, and time management skills to meet deadlines
