Multimedia Designer

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Designer to join a fast-paced, high-performance production environment. This role is ideal for a creative professional who combines strong design capabilities with technical production expertise across both print and digital channels.

You will be responsible for producing high-quality artwork, campaign rollouts, retouching, motion graphics, and digital assets while ensuring all deliverables meet brand standards, technical specifications, and strict production deadlines.

This position offers the opportunity to work on large-scale campaigns across multiple channels, collaborating with creative, production, and traffic teams to deliver exceptional work for leading brands.

Key Responsibilities

Design, DTP & Finished Art

• Create and prepare high-quality print-ready artwork.
• Execute DTP layout, artwork adaptation, and finished art production.
• Ensure files are technically compliant, including colour profiles, bleed, resolution, fonts, and output specifications.
• Produce certified proofs and final production files.
• Maintain strict quality control and version management processes.

Campaign Rollout & Adaptation

• Roll out campaigns across print, digital, social media, paid media, and large-format environments.
• Adapt master artwork into multiple formats and sizes while maintaining brand consistency.
• Implement copy, pricing, and layout amendments with exceptional attention to detail.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight production deadlines.

Digital Design & Content Creation

• Design and prepare assets for digital marketing, social media, online advertising, and web platforms.
• Ensure all digital assets are optimized for channel-specific requirements.
• Support integrated campaign execution across multiple touchpoints.

Retouching & Image Editing

• Perform advanced image retouching, colour correction, compositing, deep-etching, and image enhancement.
• Maintain colour accuracy and consistency across product and lifestyle imagery.
• Apply non-destructive retouching techniques and industry best practices.

Motion Graphics & Video

• Edit and adapt video content for multiple digital platforms.
• Create engaging motion graphics and animated content.
• Ensure video outputs meet platform specifications and performance requirements.

Workflow & Collaboration

• Work closely with production, traffic, quality assurance, and creative teams.
• Follow studio workflows, quality assurance procedures, and approval processes.
• Proactively communicate project risks, challenges, and delivery timelines.
• Maintain organized file structures, naming conventions, and archiving standards.

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Finished Art, or Production Design role.
• Qualification in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Proven experience within a high-volume agency, studio, retail, or production environment.
• Strong experience in print production, DTP, finished art, and campaign rollouts.
• Experience in image retouching, digital design, and multimedia content creation.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite:
  • Photoshop
  • Illustrator
  • InDesign
  • After Effects
• Experience with Premiere Pro.
• Experience with Figma would be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of CMYK, RGB, colour management, and print production processes.
• Comfortable working within a Mac OS environment.
