Job Description

Location: Wangen b. Dübendorf
When: 01 August 2026 or upon availability

Your mission:

In this role, you design and continuously improve modern workplace services with a strong focus on security, automation and user experience. You take ownership from engineering to operations, contribute to the Windows 11 transformation, and ensure reliable service delivery through standards, documentation and collaboration with stakeholders and partners.

Your tasks:

  • Engineer and operate workplace services, ensuring stability, security and a smooth user experience
  • Drive the Windows 11 workplace roadmap and lifecycle (standards, rollout readiness, updates and continuous improvement)
  • Automate OS, application and configuration deployments using modern tooling (Intune/ConfigMgr) and PowerShell-based automation
  • Manage OS baselines and the workplace application portfolio, including packaging, releases, validation and rollback procedures
  • Maintain procedures, standards and knowledge articles, ensuring the documentation is complete, consistent and audit-ready
  • Provide expert 3rd level support, lead technical problem solving, and act as interface to external service providers

What we are looking for:

  • Higher education (HF/FH/University) in IT/Engineering (or equivalent experience in enterprise workplace engineering)
  • Proven experience in workplace engineering for large environments, including operations and lifecycle topics
  • Strong engineering skills for Windows, identity and device management (Windows 10/11, Entra/AD, Intune/ConfigMgr), with security-by-design mindset
  • Engineering + project management: structured delivery in multi-discipline projects, clear prioritization and ownership mindset
  • Problem solving: You structure complex situations, identify root causes and implement pragmatic, sustainable solutions
  • Teamwork: You collaborate openly with diverse stakeholders, share knowledge and contribute actively to common goals
  • Fluent in German and English; French is a plus
