About the job

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Developer to build modern, reliable, and user-friendly mobile applications using React Native and Expo.

You will take ownership of complex mobile features, work closely with Product Owners and Designers, and help turn ideas into polished production-ready mobile experiences. A key focus of the role will be on push notifications, event-driven mobile workflows, deep linking, app lifecycle handling, and high-quality design implementation.

You should have strong React Native experience, practical Expo knowledge, and a good eye for UI, UX, and interaction details. We are also looking for someone curious about AI-assisted development, rapid prototyping, and modern ways of improving engineering productivity.

What you’ll do

  • Build and maintain React Native mobile applications using Expo
  • Own mobile features from design handoff to production release
  • Work closely with Product Owners and Designers
  • Implement push notification flows, deep links, and event-driven user journeys
  • Integrate REST APIs, authentication, analytics, and local storage
  • Optimize mobile performance, reliability, and user experience
  • Support app store releases for iOS and Android
  • Improve mobile architecture, reusable components, and development workflows
  • Use AI-assisted tools to speed up prototyping and delivery where appropriate

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong experience with React Native
  • Practical experience with Expo and mobile release workflows
  • Experience shipping production mobile apps
  • Good understanding of iOS and Android platform differences
  • Experience with push notifications, deep linking, app lifecycle, and mobile permissions
  • Experience integrating APIs and authentication flows
  • Good eye for design and ability to work from Figma
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Proactive, pragmatic, and comfortable taking ownership

Nice to have

  • Native iOS experience with Swift
  • Native Android experience with Kotlin or Java
  • Firebase experience, especially Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics, or Remote Config
  • CI/CD experience for mobile apps
  • Automated testing experience
  • Backend experience with Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, or similar
