Job Description
As a Senior MIS Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our organization's data-driven decision-making process. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and develop insightful dashboards to support business strategies. You will collaborate closely with various business units to understand their unique needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Analyze and interpret large volumes of data to identify patterns and trends.
- Develop and maintain efficient data models and databases using RDBMS and SQL.
- Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards using Power BI or similar tools.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide customized solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security throughout the analysis process.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis and generate reports as requested by senior management.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data analytics and visualization.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the IT team to optimize database performance and ensure smooth data flow.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial industry.
- Expertise in RDBMS, SQL, and Power BI (or equivalent data visualization tools).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in developing and maintaining data-driven dashboards for business intelligence.
- Proficiency in data modeling and database design principles.
- Familiarity with data security and privacy best practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
