We are looking for an individual who shares the same values as us to take up the position of Senior Merchandiser

Here is what you need to know about this role:

  • Product Development & Order Management: Provide end-to-end support from sampling and development through to final shipment for categories including Toys, Electronics, Electrical Appliances, Seasonal, Home Décor, Home Textile, Hair Accessories, Personal Care, and Health & Beauty.

  • Sample & Costing Coordination: Manage sample requests and assist in accurate costing, price negotiations, and order processing.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key point of contact for vendors, overseas customers, and internal teams to ensure daily merchandising matters are handled efficiently.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with quality, logistics, and compliance teams to ensure smooth order execution and high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Production Tracking: Monitor production timelines closely, track progress, and proactively escalate any merchandising or supply chain issues.

  • Quality & Compliance: Assist in maintaining product quality standards and ensuring all items meet necessary safety and regulatory requirements.

  • Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports and manage all order- and shipment-related documentation.

  • Ad-hoc Support: Perform additional duties and projects as assigned to support business growth.

You might be a good fit if you have/are …

  • Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related discipline.

  • Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience within a trading company or import-exporter.

  • Market and Product Knowledge: While US market experience is not a must, a strong understanding of the trading/sourcing workflow of hardgoods and general merchandise is essential.

  • Mindset: A self-starter who is highly flexible and capable of working independently in a dynamic environment.

  • Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and highly responsible.

    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook.

  • Languages: Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.

  • Travel: Occasional travel to visit vendors or factories may be required.
