This a grant funded contractual position.

Job Roles / Responsibilities:

Provide quality patient care at peri-urban primary healthcare facility including Enrolment of patients for ongoing research studies, organize data gathered, and maintain records for different research projects.

You will be responsible to:

• Identification of the patient for the ongoing study and enrolled patient for the Research study;
• to follow up the research study patient and update schedule of visit;
• collect and maintain records of identified cases;
• design and plan social mobilization strategies for community people to co-operate/collaborate with Research projects;
• to provide appropriate guidance to children screen positive with disability or malnourished;
• ensure participation of community in Research project to increase case reporting;
• training of junior staff working in the health centre;
• monitoring the data collection processes in the field;
• evaluating and validating the data collected;
• development of data collection forms;
• preparation and submission of study reports;
• present the study results as per the requirement.
  

Requirements:

You must have:

• MBBS with MCPS/FCPS in relevant field preferably in Obstetrics & Gynaecology;
• at least 3–5 years of experience in maternal and newborn health;
• ability to work in a team;
• ability to establish harmonious working relations at the place of work;
• flexibility in taking over additional/new responsibilities when required by project;
• willingness to travel in rural districts of Sindh;
• mature, reliable, and responsible;
• able to understand and follow instruction;
• ability to speak and understand job-related English and Urdu.
