
ChristianaCare Float Medical Subspecialties is seeking a professional, dependable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant II with strong communication, integrity, and solid technical and clinical skills.
The Medical Subspecialties Service Line at ChristianaCare brings together a diverse group of specialized programs dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care across a range of medical needs. The service line includes Endocrinology, Holloway Community Program, Rheumatology, and Sports Medicine. Working within this collaborative environment, team members can support specialized patient populations, partner with multidisciplinary care teams, and contribute to high-quality care across a broad spectrum of medical specialties and services.
The Medical Assistant II ensures high-quality patient care, assists providers with virtual and on-site exams and treatments, and provides leadership by mentoring staff and supporting practice operations.
The Medical Assistant II supports virtual and on-site patient care by rooming patients, recording vitals, performing tests, injections, medication administration, and EKGs. They assist clinicians with exams and procedures, prepare treatment rooms, manage EMR documentation, handle patient callbacks, and maintain equipment sterilization. Additional duties include managing authorizations, referrals, refills, scheduling, quality control of POCT equipment, clerical tasks, supply management, staff coverage, and ensuring safe work practices.

Hourly Pay Range: $20.24 - $30.36
This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
