Job Description

We are seeking a Media Planner to join our in-house media team. This role is central to how we plan, activate, and optimize digital campaigns across performance, brand, and full-funnel objectives. Acting as an internal media agency, you will partner with brand teams and leading platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok, The Trade Desk, etc.) to deliver data-driven, scalable, and impactful media execution

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Strategic Media Planning

  • Translate brand briefs into clear, insight-led media strategies across paid social, programmatic/display, video, search, and e-commerce.
  • Recommend channel mix, targeting frameworks, and budget allocations aligned with business goals.
  • Present compelling planning decks and investment rationales to secure stakeholder buy-in.

Media Buying & Campaign Management

  • Execute media buys in line with approved plans and budgets
  • Set up, monitor, and optimize campaigns on media platforms and buying tools
  • Manage booking confirmations, material deadlines, trafficking, and launch checks
  • Liaise with media owners, publishers, and platforms on rates, placements, and performance
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, in full, and within budget

Performance Management & Optimization

  • Monitor pacing, delivery, and KPIs (ROAS, CPM, CPV, reach, frequency, etc).
  • Apply real-time optimizations across bids, budgets, audiences, and creatives.
  • Provide weekly insights and recommendations to maximize efficiency and impact.

Reporting, Insights & Analysis

  • Deliver weekly, monthly, and post-campaign reports in collaboration with local brand teams.
  • Extract actionable insights to inform future planning cycles and creative strategies.
  • Build a library of benchmarks and best practices to scale learnings across markets.

Stakeholder & Platform Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary digital media contact for brand and market teams.
  • Partner with platform reps on best practices, A/B testing, and quarterly reviews.
  • Align media execution with broader brand and e-commerce strategies to ensure consistency across the customer journey.

Process, Governance, Tools

  • Maintain centralized documentation (media calendars, budget trackers).
  • Uphold compliance with brand safety, ad policies, and measurement standards.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in digital media planning and buying (in-house or agency).
  • Proficiency with at least two major platforms (Meta, Google Ads, DV360, TikTok, Snapchat, The Trade Desk).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on performance data.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills; adept at stakeholder coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns and markets simultaneously with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with e-commerce media, remarketing frameworks, or full-funnel strategy.
  • Familiarity with ad servers, tracking, and attribution tools.
  • APAC market experience.
  • Strong Excel/Sheets and presentation skills.
